101 More Conversation Starters for Couples is the second in a series of pocket-size books of conversation starters. Some questions are silly, some are lighthearted, and others are more serious, but they are all meant to be presented in a relaxed, casual atmosphere.
I have a lot of conversation starter books. I keep them in a collection along with my writing prompts and character development questions.
I’ve reviewed all three of these books, now.

101 Conversation Starters for Families
I really liked “Families” but I was disappointed in the first “Couples” book, and I wasn’t sure what to expect from this one. It turned out that I like this one much better, and I’ve been using it all summer as a writing prompt book to help one of my characters communicate more effectively with his spouse.
This one is a lot more of what I was expecting in the first book. The questions are a mixed bag, but they feel like things that I might want to ask or talk about with a romantic partner rather than just things I would ask anyone. Some reviewers mention duplicate questions from the first book, and there are a few, but overall this is a better book and a better investment if you’re going to purchase only one of these.
If you’re looking for some light entertainment that might help you get to know your partner better, this book might be for you.
