I’ve heard of the five love languages before and even applied some of the principles in my relationships. Boy, what a difference it makes! Simple concept, but very effective if applied. I’ve witnessed firsthand how application of this concept can help turn relationships around, but those are stories for another day!
The review today is on this particular book. It’s focused on how to use the five love languages with children. The examples provided in this book are excellent!! I highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to demonstrate love to their children (in a way that the children will be receptive to). You know how people say “All children are different?” Well, I think one reason for that is because all children were created differently and have different love languages. You’ll see what I mean when you read this book. Please pick up this book if you’re in the least bit interested (do it for your kids!) The chapter on “Discipline and the Love Languages” alone is worth the read. Very insightful, very informative, and again, highly recommended for all parents!! Did I mention they also have a chapter devoted to “Single-parent families” and another devoted to “Marriages”?
I can’t thank the authors enough for writing a book that will inspire so many and impact countless children’s lives because of what you guys teach the parents.
I received a copy of this book from Moody Publishers in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.
