Age of Crowns Review

Book Review:

I have never read a book by Kori deLeon but had heard good things about her so I thought I’d give this book a try. I’m always intrigued how authors write about eternity from a biblical perspective.

I was impressed with her ability to write about eternity and the age to come in a way that was simple, precise, and easy to understand. The theme she seems to weave throughout the book begs the reader for a wonder and awe of our God and what He has in store for us. If we truly understood what awaits us in eternity, we would not hesitate to do what God has asked of us here on earth in order to receive the greatness of what is to come.

The book is broken into 3 parts, each with 4 sub-chapters: Part 1 = Made for Grand Adventure; Part 2 = The King and His Bride; Part 3 = Glorious Reward. Each chapter also ends with a discussion section that allows one to further contemplate its concepts. De Leon does a wonderful job of utilizing scripture for support and keeps the references contextually sound.

The book definitely challenges the believer with whether they are overvaluing their life here on earth and undervaluing their life to come with Christ in Eternity.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
