Anchor for the Soul, An Review

Book Review:

What can be done to fill that hole we all get in our heart? That sense of something missing in our lives? People try many things, but only God can truly fill it. Ray Pritchard invites everyone to accept God's free gift in An Anchor for the Soul.

God wants each of us to have a relationship with Him, and does all He can to make that available. We are separated from God because of our sin, and we cannot fix that by doing anything. God knew that, and paid the price for us so that we can have hope.

Pritchard presents no only the gospel message we are familiar with, but begins by telling why we need salvation. Starting with why we are in sin, and what sin does, he describes what had to be done, and what we need to do in order to accept God's free gift. He then tells how we will see a change in our lives, and how we continue growing in Christ.

Written in a straight-forward and encouraging manner, it is a good book for all levels. Whether you are just looking, or have already accepted Christ, it has useful information. It would be a good book to keep on hand to lend or give to people.

I received a free copy of this book from Moody Publishers in exchange for this review.
