A.W. Tozer: Three Spiritual Classics in One Volume Review

Book Review:

Three Spiritual Classics in One Volume contains three books, The Knowledge of the Holy, The Pursuit of God, and God’s Pursuit of Man.

In The knowledge of the Holy Tozer writes about understanding the attributes of god. Tozer goes on to explain how many Christians today don’t have a correct conception of who God is. It breaks down many misrepresentations and misunderstandings of God’s nature.

In the pursuit of god Tozer explains how sin, self, and pride are stumbling blocks preventing true union with God. In this the reader will gain greater clarity on how to pursue God and follow Him.

In gods pursuit of man Tozer explains that, though man is commanded to seek God, their ability to do so is quintessentially established in his persistent pursuit of them. It is only when the person humbly recognizes their dependence on the sovereign God that they are freed to seek after their creator.

I really enjoyed this book and found its content to be inspiring and insightful. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to be challenged in their faith and grow closer in their relationship with God.
