As a mama to three little girls, I often feel like I am in a meal rut and I struggle to find time to read my Bible. Bible and Breakfast: 31 Mornings with Jesus–Feeding Our Bodies and Souls Together by Asheritah Ciuciu is a great resource for this.
This book is beautiful. It is packed with yummy and healthy breakfast recipes for each day. Then Asheritah includes the Bible portion. She encourages you to spend time in your Bible while eating your breakfast. She includes what she calls is a snack for those days you don’t have much time and then a feast for times when you sit longer at the table and dive into scripture.
This cookbook is gorgeous. I love the photos for each recipe. They are healthy and not too complicated. It was fun to look through it with my girls and pick the recipes we wanted to start with. We picked the chocolate chip banana muffins as our first recipe.
I loved the questions in Bible Study. It takes you straight through a passage of scripture and helps you to study it. One of my favorites was when she asked us to summarize the passage. This really helps for comprehension.
This book is beautiful and full of truth. This would make a great addition to anyone’s library and it also would make a wonderful gift.
