Though this book is a quick and relatively simple read, it's so intellectually written that I found myself re-reading many paragraphs to really soak it in. Born After Midnight has been a deeply convicting read for me, bringing me back to one question in every aspect of my life: Do I love Christ more than this world? Somehow A.W. Tozer writes in such a way that you're left feeling so motivated to repent of sin you didn't even realize you were living in, let go of worldly desires, and run to Jesus. This book was written decades ago, yet it feels like he could have written it this year with the way he describes rampant sin and a shallow Church. This book made me long for eternity with Christ.
I received a copy of this book through Moody Publishers. All opinions are my own.
