James (Everyday Bible Commentary Series) Review

Book Review: 

James, by Vernon Doerksen is an interesting in-depth bible study, and it's a part of the Everyday Bible Commentary series. This paperback book allows readers to encounter the biblical book of James in an easier-to-read manner and focuses on an in-depth study with verse-by-verse commentary. Each chapter may be utilized during as a personal bible study or as a group study with friends or church bible studies.

This book is divided into eleven chapters, which are titled as Growing Through Testing, Admitting the True Source of Temptations, Using the Word for Spiritual Maturing, Accepting Others Without Partiality, Exhibiting a Productive Faith, Controlling the Tongue, Demonstrating Godly Wisdom, Giving God First Priority, Avoiding Presumptuous Behavior, Enduring Wrongful Oppression, and Concluding Counsel. Also, this book features additional sections titled as Publisher's Note, Introduction, Bibliography, and Notes.

James is a helpful guide and in-depth bible study. This recommended book is geared towards various ages, from young adults to older generations.
