Open the Bible in 30 Days Review

Book Review:

Colin S. Smith's "Open the Bible in 30 Days" is an overview of God's Word. Smith divides the Bible into three stages: the Old Testament, the Gospels and the New Testament Letters (the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit). This guided journey through the Bible will help you gain a broader understanding of the themes and important events that you need to study God's Word in-depth. Smith also has an interactive website (openthebible.org) that can be used in conjunction with the book.

"Open the Bible in 30 Days" can be used individually or in a small group. If you are new to Bible reading and/or study, Smith's book will help you dive in confidently and teach you how to read the Scripture and better apply it to your life. His website offers 50 sessions that guide you from Genesis through Revelation. Each session contains a reading of the Scripture, a teaching and discussion questions, complementing the book and the Scriptures.
