Arlene Pellicane is a fantastic author and her latest book, Parents Rising will not disappoint! She presents crucial information in a concise and convincing way that encourages readers to take action. Similar to her other books, Parents Rising is relatively short and easy-to-read. Pellicane includes a plethora of research data, but intertwines the data with personal experiences, excerpts of advice from other authors, and examples from Scripture. She uses all of this to build rationale behind her practical tips.
In Parents Rising, Pellicane does not mince words regarding the challenges parents face when raising children. In that way, Parents Rising is not for the faint of heart. Still, since Pellicane writes in an encouraging way, parents will be motivated to make changes in their home that will have an eternal impact on their children and perhaps change the communities they live in.
I highly recommend Parents Rising to parents with children of any age, grandparents who seek to support their children and grandchildren, and anyone who works with children or families.
