I love interactive books, devotionals, and study guides. An Unexpected Revival, by Erica Wiggenhorn, fits into those categories nicely. I’ve read and study the Bible through the years, but I can’t remember ever focusing on the book of Ezekiel.
This eight-week study is sure to bring you clarity and closeness in times of trouble or difficulty. It’s easy to become buried by our struggles, but this study inspires us to not only rise above them but to thrive despite them. God has created us for a purpose, and he is faithful to those who seek him.
I like how the book is organized, with weekly studies divided into 5 days each, including scripture verses, devotional readings, questions, and plenty of white space for notetaking.
First Line: Have you ever had a morning when you glanced at the clock, saw it was well before noon, and you felt like you had already run a marathon?
